Ms. Jeffreys received her undergraduate education from Jackson State Community College in Jackson, TN. After graduating in 1999, she attended Graceland University in Independence, MO, where she received her M.S.N – Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and will receive her DNP in May 2010. She has worked at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, AL, and Trinity Healthcare and Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis. She joined the Gastroenterology Center of the MidSouth, now Gastro One, in 2001. Ms. Jeffreys was certified in 2002 by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and received the Tennessee Certificate of Fitness in the same year. She continues to maintain this certification. Ms. Jeffreys was honored by the Mid-South chapter of the American Liver Foundation in 2006 for dedication to the education and treatment of patients with liver disease.
