Education and Training

Dr. Dragutsky graduated from Texas A&M University and attended medical school at the Texas A&M College of Medicine, which he completed in 1982.  Following medical school, he was an internal medicine intern for one year at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis and was a resident there in internal medicine from 1983-1985, becoming chief resident in 1984. 

After residency, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee hospitals in 1987.  He then joined the Memphis Gastroenterology Group and later moved into solo practice.  In 1996, he was one of the co-founders of Gastroenterology Center of the MidSouth, now Gastro One, and is currently its chief executive officer and chief financial officer.

Dr. Dragutsky is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
