Gastro One is open.  Rest assured that we are staying vigilant and taking appropriate precautions related to Coronavirus.  We are grateful that you have selected Gastro One for your healthcare needs and we take our responsibility to our patients, visitors, associates, and providers very seriously.  As we continually monitor the situation and assess risks, we strive to provide timely updates to our processes and communicate those to our valued patients. 

Effective March 18, 2020 we have implemented a screening process for all who enter our facilities.  This screening will include a brief survey and temperature check to determine risk for exposure to Coronavirus.  Our screening questions are listed below:

Do you or anyone in your household have a test for COVID 19 pending or have had a positive test? Have you had a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other respiratory symptoms?  If yes to either of these questions, please contact our office about rescheduling your visit or procedure.

We are also asking that if you need a routine medication refill, please send a message to your provider through your patient portal with your medication refill request.  We will schedule your routine follow up visit for a later date or schedule you for a telehealth visit.

As soon as permitted by our local governments we will begin to schedule elective procedures such as colon cancer screening. Please contact our office regarding a date and time to schedule your next visit or procedure with your physician.

 

Due to the additional health risks, if you have any underlying medical conditions or are over the age of 64, we ask that you contact us by phone or through your patient portal for guidance regarding your appointment.  In compliance with the recommendation to practice social distancing, we also ask that you only bring ONE person with you to your appointment.  We also request that no one under the age of 18 accompanies our patients to their office visits in order to decrease the risk to those individuals as well. FOR YOUR SAFETY, ALL PATIENTS AND VISITORS ARE ASKED TO WEAR A MASK WHEN COMING TO ANY OF OUR FACILITIES.
